Design and Project Management

Power Design Projects Ltd were engaged directly by the client to undertake a concept design based on current and future load requirements. 

This took into account efficiency, total cost of ownership and PUE. 

 

The initial stage of the project was the relocation of the UPS system. After careful risk assessment and resilience/SPOF studies it was concluded that new infrastructure equipment would be the most expedient way of maintaining services within the data centre.

The complete design of the electrical distribution was aligned with concurrent maintainability "Tier III Standards."

Power Design Projects produced concept and detailed design drawings and specification for the client which was tendered by suitable contractors for the project works. The engineers of PDP undertook full project management duties inline with the clients programme of works delivering both a technical and commercial solution.
